Question by Wesley: This is about bookkeeping software. Need to find out which bookkeeping software is the best?
I did a search for bookkeeping software, and saw a lot of results, but none of them really answered all of my questions. I wanted to find out which bookkeeping software is the best for a small business just starting up. It seemed like there were a few choices available at least, but I was hoping that some of you had some experiences with bookkeeping software and would not mind sharing with me. Must . . . Find . . . Bookkeeping Software! –End Transmission

I like Intuit QuickBooks Simple Start Free Edition 2009. It is a great accounting program for the small business.

Good luck!
QuickBooks by far is the best and safest to use.
I like some of the other suggestions mentioned here. There are a lot of options actually, but we’ve had a lot of luck with Lawson. The deal is that you need bookkeeping software that’s going to grow with you over time. YOu don’t want bookkeeping software that is going to be a limitation that you’ll have to migrate away from. That never seems to work well ultimately. The other ones might be just fine for your needs too. Have a look at http://www.book-keeping-guide.com.
