For-profit accounting does not, what software should I use Quicken 2008 or Quickbook? Thanks.?
I'm working on the accounts for purposes no profit. I know well Quickbook Quicken 2008 or can be used. I have some questions for these two programs. What are the differences between 2008 and Quickbook Quicken? What software should I use? Does anyone know the answers? I would appreciate if I can post your comments.
Quicken is more a less a checkbook computer. QuickBooks is an accounting package. QuickBooks will keep track of donations, keep a list of donors, donor pledges bill made, and take charge of operations and payroll (if required). Therefore I suggest QuickBooks Pro (most bang for the buck). I do not recommend Premier Edition nonprofit and the differences are small and probably not worth the extra $ $ $.
