A Veterans Day Salute to the Lawrence House of Seven Stars
LAWRENCE — It’s been more than 65 years since World War II ended. But Veterans Day rekindles proud, patriotic memories for Winnie Bolis DiTommaso, who remembers living on the second floor of a double-decker at 311 Elm St., which displayed seven stars in the front window — in honor of seven men from her family who were serving the country.
