Quickbooks vs paper journals and ledgers?
as a sole proprietor using quickbooks to do the bookkeeping, do I have to have also paper journals, diary of original entry, GL, cash book etc? Or would you say Quickbooks would substitute all of these things?
You do not need to keep ledgers or journals if you have Quickbooks. That’s what the software does. You should keep all receipts and bank statements for records though.
