I am not sure what you mean here. If you are outsourcing your accounting work, the person who is preparing your financials will use the software of their choice. The most common software used by small business’ is Quick Books. If you are not familiar with running a general ledger or setting one up it will be a challenge for you. There are quickbooks for dummies books that will help you.

The accounting software that you use on your end isn’t going to make a difference to the company that you use to outsource your accounting. I would recommend pulling out the yellow pages though and contact a few different CPAs in your area to discuss your options with them before contracting an online company. You’ll probably get a better deal and be much happier with the service.
Online outsourcing is a bad idea. I’m sure, there are bookeepers roaming around your areas. Outsourcing does not eliminate your transactional jobs of recording and classifying accounts, but traditional bookeepers can do all Accounting Cycles for you. So, you have the choice.
