Thinking about Bookkeeping? Penn Foster?

Question by jake: Thinking about Bookkeeping? Penn Foster?

Check with your local states school accreditation agency to see if they are accredited, or if any of their courses are recognized at conventional colleges and universities.

On-line education is a very “iffy” thing, especially if you later want to transfer credits to a state university, and continue your education.

Many times such “credits” or “certifications” are not recognized as transferable to conventional schools, and your money and effort are not put to their best use for future learning.

These courses can also cost more than a Junior College Associates degree, which generally are transferable to other conventional colleges.

Be extremely careful, and utilize the knowledge and information from your local high school guidance programs to tell you which schools are scams and which are accredited.

There’s a lot at stake here!!!
