Question by anon: i want a career in bookkeeping/ payroll?
i have no experience or qualification, but i want to get into a career as a bookkeeper or something to do with payroll and i need help to know what the best way is to start. I’ve been looking for courses but i just don’t now the level or name of the best course the start with. i’m 25 and have a NVQ level 2 in Hairdressing and NVQ level 2 in Childcare.

Your resume might benefit from A MYOB or Quickbooks course (they are popular accounting programs for small business).
That plus a business course could find you employment with a small business. Get a job at a small place, get more experience and move up.
Once you got your leg in the door, you’ll probably make some good contacts with accountants and they can point you in the right direction with further training.

You could do it privatelY. I think you will struggle to get into it with no experience.
